The Allen & Heath ZED-6 is a compact and portable 6-input analogue mixer designed for solo musicians, small bands, presentations and small sound systems. It combines Allen & Heath analogue audio quality with straightforward and practical operation.
The two Mic/Line inputs feature GS preamps, while two dedicated Hi-Z instrument inputs allow electric or electro-acoustic guitars to be connected directly to the mixer without a DI box. The stereo inputs are suitable for line-level stereo sources such as keyboards and other audio equipment.
The 2-band MusiQ EQ and Hi-Pass filter provide basic sound-shaping capabilities, while 48 V phantom power supports condenser microphones. The main stereo output is available via XLR connectors, with an 8-LED level meter and PFL function providing signal monitoring.
