Overview
Clarett+ 2Pre brings analogue sound character to recording. The two Clarett microphone preamps have been engineered to provide large-format studio sound in different recording environments. The analogue Air mode with impedance switching recreates the characteristic effect of Focusrite's ISA microphone preamps, adding clarity and presence to recordings.
High-impedance JFET instrument inputs preserve the character of a guitar and provide an amplifier-like feel. Independent A-D and D-A converters provide very low distortion and up to 124 dB dynamic range. Four balanced outputs are designed for monitoring, mixing and mastering. Eight ADAT input channels allow 2Pre to be expanded for recording sessions.
The package also includes plugins from Antares, Brainworx, Softube, Landr, XLN Audio, Relab and other manufacturers.
