The ADAM Audio S3V is a professional 3-way active midfield studio monitor optimized for vertical use and designed for precise and detailed monitoring in professional studio environments. It combines a 9″ ELE HexaCone woofer, a 4″ DCH Dome/Cone Hybrid midrange driver and a German handmade S-ART tweeter with HPS waveguide.
A 500 W PWM amplifier drives the ELE woofer, a 300 W PWM amplifier drives the DCH midrange driver, while the S-ART tweeter uses a 50 W Class A/B amplifier. The combined RMS amplification is 850 W.
The integrated DSP optimizes crossover operation, provides in-room compensation and driver protection, and processes AES3 digital audio signals. Six parametric EQs, High-Shelf and Low-Shelf room compensation filters, 5 preset memories and 0-5 ms delay adjustment provide flexible tuning options. DSP control and software updates are also available via USB and S Control Remote software.
