The ADAM Audio S3H is a professional 3-way active midfield studio monitor with a horizontal design, developed for precise mixing, production and critical audio monitoring. It combines two 7″ HexaCone woofers, a 4″ DCH Dome/Cone Hybrid midrange driver and a German handmade S-ART tweeter with HPS waveguide.
The two woofers are driven by separate 500 W PWM amplifiers, the DCH midrange driver by a 300 W PWM amplifier and the S-ART tweeter by a 50 W Class A/B amplifier. The combined RMS amplification is 1350 W.
The integrated DSP optimizes crossover operation and provides signal processing, room compensation and AES3 digital signal processing. Six parametric EQs, High-Shelf and Low-Shelf room compensation filters, 5 preset memories and 0-5 ms delay adjustment provide flexible tuning options. The S3H DSP also includes a factory EQ preset that emulates the response of the ADAM Audio S3A monitor.
