The Allen & Heath ME-U is a 10-port PoE hub for ME-1 and ME-500 personal mixers. Each output port provides audio and PoE power to one ME mixer over a single CAT cable.

ME-U is supplied with an ME-D digital input card for connection to Allen & Heath digital mixing systems and Aviom A-Net 16. The input card can be replaced with an optional Dante, MADI, EtherSound or Waves card for connection to other digital audio systems.

Compatibility

The standard ME-D input card supports the dLive ME monitor port, dSNAKE on Qu and GLD systems, Qu/SQ/Avantis SLink in dSNAKE mode, ACE on iLive systems and Aviom A-Net 16.

Optional input cards allow ME-U to interface with other digital audio systems using Dante, MADI, EtherSound or Waves.

Configuration and Expansion

ME-U is configured by connecting a computer to its Network port and accessing the setup interface through a web browser. Network parameters, channel names and stereo links can be configured, while port and PoE status can also be monitored.

Multiple ME-U hubs can be linked to increase the number of available ME mixer connections. ME-U output ports are intended for use with Allen & Heath ME system devices only.
