The Genelec 7040A is a compact active studio subwoofer designed especially for space-limited studios and use with Genelec 8010 and 8020 monitors. It provides low-frequency reproduction down to 30 Hz and a maximum SPL of 100 dB.
The 7040A uses Genelec's Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) technology to provide precise and controlled bass reproduction in a compact enclosure. The 6½″ driver is powered by a Genelec-designed 50 W Class-D amplifier.
The subwoofer features 2 XLR analog inputs and 2 XLR analog outputs, along with Room Response Compensation, Bass Management System, Active Crossovers and Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) technologies.
