The Genelec 7050C is an active studio subwoofer designed for nearfield monitors, particularly Genelec 8010, 8020 and 8030 models. It provides low-frequency reproduction down to 24 Hz and a maximum SPL of 103 dB.
The 7050C features a professional bass management system with 5 XLR input and 5 XLR output channels, 85 Hz low-pass/high-pass filtering and a dedicated 120 Hz LFE input with selectable +10 dB boost. This allows the subwoofer to be used in both stereo and multichannel audio systems.
The 8″ magnetically shielded driver is housed in Genelec's Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™), providing extended low-frequency reproduction with low distortion. Rear-panel DIP switches allow adjustment of phase, low-frequency roll-off, LFE level and the sensitivity of the Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) power-saving mode.
