The Genelec 8351B is an active 3-way SAM point-source studio monitor designed for accurate near-field monitoring in professional audio applications. Its coaxial design combines the midrange driver and tweeter with two 8.63″ woofers, providing precise imaging and controlled sound reproduction.
The Minimum Diffraction Coaxial Driver (MDC) and Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) provide controlled directivity across the frequency range, while the bass-reflex enclosure extends low-frequency response. The monitor can be positioned vertically or horizontally and includes an Iso-Pod for vibration isolation.
GLM (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager) software enables automatic room calibration, detailed equalization and network control. The monitor supports balanced analog and AES3 digital audio, with two RJ45 Ethernet connections for GLM networking and an AES3 output for daisy-chaining additional monitors.
