The ADAM Audio Sub8 is a compact yet powerful active subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency capabilities of nearfield monitoring systems down to 28 Hz. It is particularly suited to smaller rooms up to 20 m² and pairs well with ADAM Audio AX-Series and S2V nearfield monitors.
The Sub8 features an 8.5″ paper-cone woofer with a 1.5″ voice coil, driven by a 160 W RMS PWM amplifier. The amplifier combines high performance with low heat generation, making it suitable for extended mixing sessions.
Two motorized knobs on the front panel provide control over input level and crossover frequency. These settings can also be adjusted using the included wireless remote, allowing the subwoofer to be optimized conveniently from the listening position.
