The IP6 is a programmable network remote controller for installation and live sound applications, providing physical control of AHM, dLive and Avantis systems. Six push-and-turn rotary controls and 19 assignable SoftKeys allow the controller to be customised for different applications.

The six rotary controls can be configured individually or combined into a vertical Rotary Strip, with each control providing a second function through push-and-turn operation. Six layers allow multiple independent control configurations to be available from a single IP6.

The IP6 is suitable for personal monitoring, for example controlling send levels, pan and channel assignments on dLive or Avantis systems, as well as for installation applications, where it can provide control of microphone levels, music sources, zone levels and other functions.

Easy Configuration

IP6 functions and control assignments can be configured using AHM System Manager, dLive Surface/Director or Avantis mixer/Director software. Depending on the system and configuration, IP6 can control levels, sends, pan, channel assignments, scenes, presets and other functions.

The six rotary controls can be used individually or as a Rotary Strip, while the 6 layers provide multiple control configurations from a single controller. For example, an IP6 can control the sends of 36 individual inputs to a monitor mix or be configured to control different zones in an installation system.

Convenient Connection

The IP6 uses a standard TCP/IP network connection and can be integrated into an Ethernet infrastructure alongside other controllers, computers and third-party devices. The network connection uses a locking Neutrik EtherCON connector.

The maximum cable length is 100 m when using shielded CAT5 or higher-category cable. Multiple IP6 controllers can be connected to the same network using a standard Ethernet switch.

Mounting and Power

The IP6 can be used freestanding or mounted on a microphone stand using its integrated 3/8" thread. A separate microphone stand bracket and headphone holder are available as optional accessories. The IP6 can also be mounted in a plinth or piece of furniture.

Power can be supplied using the included 12 V DC power supply or via PoE. IEEE 802.3af is supported.

Compatibility

The IP6 is designed for use with Allen & Heath AHM, dLive and Avantis systems. It can be used both in live sound applications, such as personal monitor control, and in installation environments requiring simple and customisable user control.

IP6 functions and assignments are stored in the relevant dLive/Avantis Scenes or AHM Presets, rather than locally on the controller.
