Xone:K3 is a professional, fully customisable MIDI controller designed for DJs, producers, and performers who need extensive hands-on control of their software in live and studio environments. It works with MIDI-compatible DJ, audio, video, lighting, and other multimedia applications and is designed to adapt to a wide range of workflows and software configurations.
Xone:K3 provides 52 physical controls - 30 tactile switches, 12 rotary potentiometers, 6 endless rotary encoders with push switches, and 4 × 60 mm linear faders. With 3 customisable control layers, a single configuration can provide up to 174 MIDI control commands, significantly expanding the available control surface without increasing the controller's physical footprint.
The free Xone Controller Editor software allows MIDI commands, control behaviour, RGB LED feedback, and layers to be configured individually. Custom maps can be stored in the controller's internal memory and recalled directly from the Xone:K3. The factory map uses the same MIDI values and LED colours as Xone:K2, making it easier to migrate existing Xone:K1 and Xone:K2 software mappings.
USB-C provides both MIDI data transfer and power. Xone:K3 is a Class-Compliant USB MIDI device, requiring no dedicated drivers and supporting Windows, macOS, iOS, and most Android devices that support Class-Compliant MIDI. Multiple Xone:K3 controllers can be connected independently to a host directly or through a USB hub.
In addition to USB-C, Xone:K3 features X:LINK IN and OUT connections. X:LINK provides MIDI data transfer and power from compatible Xone devices and allows multiple K-series controllers to be connected within a single system while reducing the number of USB connections required.
