The Allen & Heath ZEDi-8 is a compact hybrid analogue mixer and USB audio interface that combines hands-on control with convenient computer recording and playback. It is designed for musicians, singer-songwriters, home recording, rehearsals, live performances and small sound systems.
Two Mic/Line inputs with GS preamps, two stereo inputs and two Hi-Z instrument inputs provide direct connectivity for microphones, line-level sources and guitars without the need for a separate DI box. A 2-band MusiQ EQ is provided across the channels, while the microphone inputs also feature a Low Cut filter.
The built-in 2×2 USB audio interface provides 24-bit/96 kHz recording and playback, allowing the ZEDi-8 to work with a computer or iOS device. Cubase LE software and the Cubasis LE app are included, while 48V Phantom Power, PFL monitoring, 8-LED signal metering and XLR main outputs provide a complete solution for both studio and live use.
