Overview

Clarett+ OctoPre is an 8-channel ADAT preamp designed to bring analogue sound quality to your studio.

The eight Clarett microphone preamps are engineered to deliver authentic large-format studio sound with any ADAT-enabled interface. The fully analogue Air mode, with impedance switching, recreates the characteristic effect of Focusrite ISA microphone preamps, adding clarity and presence to drums, guitars and vocals. Two JFET instrument inputs capture the characteristics of guitars while providing a feel similar to plugging directly into an amplifier.

High-quality A-D/D-A converters provide high dynamic range, ultra-low noise and ultra-low distortion. Eight balanced outputs are designed for monitoring, mixing and mastering with studio monitors.

Clarett+ OctoPre can be connected to Clarett+ 2Pre, 4Pre or 8Pre to easily and consistently expand the number of inputs and outputs via ADAT.
