The Genelec 8030C is an active 2-way studio monitor designed for accurate near-field and midfield monitoring in small to medium-sized mixing rooms, studios and other professional audio environments. It features a 5.1″ woofer and 0.7″ dome tweeter, providing a frequency response of 47 Hz-25 kHz.
The Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) technology provides a wide and controlled listening area with consistent response both on and off axis, while the bass-reflex enclosure extends low-frequency reproduction. The included Iso-Pod system isolates the monitor from unwanted vibrations and allows its angle to be adjusted.
Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) automatically detects when the monitor is not in use and switches it to a low-power standby mode, reducing energy consumption to less than 0.5 W. Active crossover circuitry and driver protection further support reliable operation in professional monitoring environments.
