2-way active SAM studio monitor with a 4″ woofer, 0.75″ metal dome tweeter, 55 Hz-23 kHz frequency response and 100 W of Class-D amplification.
The Genelec 8320A is a compact 2-way active SAM studio monitor designed for accurate mix referencing in project studios, small control rooms, editing suites and mobile setups. It combines a 4″ woofer with a 0.75″ metal dome tweeter, powered by dedicated 50 W LF and 50 W HF Class-D amplifiers.
The Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) improves imaging and provides a wide, controlled listening area, while the bass-reflex port extends low-frequency response. The low-diffraction aluminum enclosure uses Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) technology to reduce unwanted reflections and coloration.
The monitor supports detailed frequency adjustments and automatic calibration through GLM (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager) software. Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) provides automatic power-saving operation, while the included Iso-Pod provides vibration isolation and flexible positioning. Two RJ45 Ethernet connections enable network connectivity for SAM system configuration and control.
