The Sennheiser E 901 is a professional condenser boundary microphone optimized for bass drums, bass and other low-frequency sound sources. Its extremely thin yet robust diaphragm provides accurate low-frequency reproduction and fast transient response without peak distortion. The half-cardioid pickup pattern helps reduce unwanted noise and reflections from the mounting surface. The microphone can be placed directly inside a bass drum without a stand, while the rubber base helps absorb unwanted vibrations.
